This is a step to step guide on how I draw a tree using water color.
To draw a tree, u need just a few basic colors. I choose not to use a coloring plate because they would have a lot of excess paint in the plate that will get wasted anyway. I like to use a Chinese brush because it is easier to use.
I like to use a light color to do a casual sketch before I start coloring.
You should split the tree into multiple compounds to give the tree some thickness and in each compound u should start with yellow and work slowly into green and lastly dark blue. You should use a brush that doesn't absorb water to well to damp color onto the tree.
To use postal color u just need to make the brush brush wet and spin it gently against the dry water color. But u can always use any other type of water color that is available.
Split the tree trunk into three colors (light brown, dark brown and black). Then, use a wet brush to gently mix them together.
Add in details using dark brown, like tree bark and twigs.
Add in a background and u are done.
Hi, I like to color and I have been learning how to color from an awesome teacher for five years. I may not be a professional but I would like to share some of what I've learn with you.

Here is a step to step guide on how to draw a single-colored scenery using a marker pen. Hope u en
You should put a piece of scrape paper on the table so u won't dirty it.
You can chose to do a casual sketch of what u are going to draw first. For me, I have drawn a waterfall.
You can start colouring in the details now, making one side lighter than the other.
Before u start colouring you should also picture which side the sun is coming from. For me, i chose to picture the sun at the right. therefore the right side is brighter.
You should colour the object based on the texture of the surface. For example, the way i color the rocks randomly make it look rough while I color the trees with circles and dots to display branches n leaves
almost there...
Done

Here are other examples. Try it yourself, all you need is a marker pen and a little self confidence.
